Roll For It: Purple

Roll For It! Purple Edition comes from Chris Leader and Calliope Games. It's a simple dice management, party, filler game which is easy to learn. In the game, 2-4 players aim to be the first to gain 40 or more points from the cards they have gained. The Purple Edition can be mixed with the Red Edition to increase the player count to eight.

The game begins with the 40 cards being shuffled and placed face-down to create the draw pile. The first three cards are placed face-up. Each card has a different combination of dice on it and each player starts with six dice of a single colour.

In turns, players roll all six of their dice and can then place them beside any card that has that specific face showing. Multiple players can place dice against any card, but a card is only scored when one player has been able to match the dice on the card using only their coloured dice. The player places this card in front of them receiving the number of points from that card and a replacement card is drawn and placed on the table. Any dice against this card are returned to players and they can use these on their next turn.

At the start of your next turn there is a choice; roll your remaining dice to try and complete a card or bring back all your dice and roll again. Play continues until a player has managed to score 40 or more from the cards they have collected.
